Investigating collaborative drawing as an inclusive practice in architectural education at NTU

Holly Mills,  Dr. Lois Woods and two BArch students Georgie Colbrook and Nanfe Lar presented their research at the RAISE conference on student engagement and belonging at Leciester Univeristy. It was such a pleasure to present in a supportive environment.

The title of our research project is 'Investigating collaborative drawing as an inclusive practice in architectural education at NTU'. Our research focused on a two day workshop with SPAB where students created design proposals for a ruined chapel using collaborative drawing. Our aim is to embed this in the 2023/24 architecture curriculum.

Our presentation at the conference was well received and delgates were paricularly compliemetary about our 'Toolkit' and co-creation with students.
