Experience Architecture Day 02.10.24

Twenty eight sixth form/college students joined us for the day to experience the Architecture Course at NTU. We began with the usual warm-up activity ‘taking a line for a walk’ and then we gave them a mini design project to undertake in groups. They were asked to come up with design ideas for a pavilion for the courtyard outside of the Architecture Studio, presented through a collaborative collage. They were provided with architectural magazines for inspiration and to cut up for their collages. At the end of the session, they stood up in groups and presented their design ideas to everyone. We were very impressed with the collaborative collages they had created in such a short space of time! The feedback on the session was very positive.
