Nottingham Trent International College ‘Cake & Draw’ 09.10.24

I joined the NTU Architecture Society as they ran a ‘cake and draw’ session at Nottingham Trent International College with the Art & Design students. They did the warmup exercise ‘taking a line for a walk’ followed by infilling the letters ‘Art and Design’ to create a banner. The NTIC students were absorbed by the activity, and it was lovely to see them talking to one another, as they have only just started at the college. Drawing is a great way to help people to interact with one another. It was wonderful to see the society adapting my pedagogy of collaborative drawing! I also love the use of colour!
